Mexican Beef

Fire up the grill! and get ready for a different take on tacos.. This is definitely not your store bought taco seasoning and ground beef BS most make for taco Tuesday. change it up and enjoy.

You can use a top round, flank, Top blade, or  as some butchers and stores call them, London broil.

1 to 2 lb top round
cumin
garlic powder
onion powder
chili powder
Salt
pepper

Directions:

Fire up the grill to maximum heat. and let preheat.

Remove the meat from the packaging and place on a cookie sheet, or the butchers wrapping. season both sides evenly with Garlic powder, Onion Powder, Salt and pepper. Sprinkle both sides with chili powder, and cumin.

Once the grill is hot and ready, place the meat on the top rack and cook for 5 minutes, open the grill flip and cook on the other side for the 5 minutes. . This will give you a nice medium rare. add time as needed for desired doneness. I personally believe that anything more is overkill and cant be blamed for the taste or texture.

remove from the grill, and let rest for 5 minutes or so. and cut. For fajitas cut into thin strips. For Tacos cut into strips, half, and cut into cubes.
